From preaching imaginary sermons on his front porch at just six years old to leading impactful ministries across Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama, Pastor Fred Batten, Jr.’s calling has always been evident: to serve, uplift, and inspire through the Word of God. He delivered his first sermon at the age of sixteen and faithfully served as an elder in his home church for over twelve years. After thirteen years of marriage and raising two children, Fred experienced a powerful conviction to step fully into pastoral ministry—a life-changing decision that has since touched and transformed countless lives.

A graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Master of Theological Studies, Pastor Fred brings together theological depth and heartfelt compassion. His ministry is rooted in evangelism, community engagement, and health outreach, consistently focused on meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with faith and purpose. Whether he’s preaching from the pulpit, counseling those walking through grief, or writing to encourage and teach, Pastor Fred remains committed to empowering individuals and families to grow spiritually, heal emotionally, and thrive in their relationship with Christ.
